Swanndri Tundra II Fleece Anorak

  Bought this on a visit to the shop 10 months ago. The visit was helpful as it let me try on different sizes and pick the one with the fit I wanted. It then hung in a cupboard unused for 4 months and I began to wonder why I'd bought it. Then the poor weather arrivied and I have made good use of it all winter. It has proved to be a really good work garment, that keeps out the 'beast from the east.' It doesn't interfere with movement. The material is soft to the touch but tough, fending off poking undergrowth and thorns. I especially appreciate the inside cuffs on the sleeves which do a good job at stopping draughts. One small minus - if the hood is down I find the front zip tends to annoy by poking me in the chin if it is zipped up high. With the hood up this is never a problem. The hood is very good, it stays up, and doesn't interfere with vision. It even has the chest pocket on the best side for us left-handers!

  This is a great bit of kit, from walking the dogs to hiking in Snowdonia. The product keeps you warm and has plenty of room for movement. Basically a good bit of kit to have.

  Excellent, very warm and windproof, excellent quality that will last for years. Good fit and sizing which will allow for an underlayer if extremely cold.. Delivery and ordering excellent, can't fault this service.

  I’m 5’9 and this fits well in a small. Plenty room for layers underneath in the winter. The length is great for me with the apron finishing at my knees. I live in the western highlands of Scotland and this is great for keeping the wind and rain out. The fleece is thick and repels the rain and I would trust it to stand up to all but the worst of the weather. Another plus is the size of the pockets, the left pocket is massive, reaching under your armpit. My only minor complaints would be the lack of hand warmer pockets and the belt loops are a bit on the small side. I was torn between this and the Swazi Nahanni, but difference in price made this a better option. Very happy with the purchase and the service from the Woodlore team. Can’t wait to get out and put it to good use in the hills.

  I bought the Swanndri garment to replace a Ridgeline Monsoon smock as I found, for me, the Ridgeline was too hot and condensation built up when out stalking. It then got cold and damp sitting in the high seat. Having gifted it to my daughter for working outdoors all day everyday she now swears by it and does not have the same problem. I have found the new Swanndri Tundra Fleece Anorak to be perfect for me and it creates Much less condensation. I ordered a 45 chest size, it is cut on the large size on purpose to fit layers underneath, so if you don`t want it to be too big maybe choose a size smaller, your choice. Excellent service from Woodlore, fast delivery times. I will use them again.
