Swanndri Ranger Wool Bushshirt - Red/Black Check

  I brought this for my fiancé who absolutely loves it. Feels lovely and very snuggly. Looks great with jeans and boots. It will keep him warm and dry in the autumn, winter and spring.

  Got the red and black in Xl intending to use as overshirt, perfect for this I take a large usually, I spend a lot of time out and about, camping and around the fire. The shirt is a large fit so can fit many layers underneath if it's cold. Chest pockets can hold a selection of small items, cut kit and fire pack for example. Long enough to tuck into trousers but can make you look like your wearing nappy. Shoulders are huge. I have pretty broad shoulders and there is space. I wore it during a heavy and sustained rain fall and it kept me surprisingly dry. Good spark resistance. Zip is good quality and allows for chest ventilation if you get warm. Obviously very breathable being wool. Collar can be turned up to give a little protection to neck. Pretty bulky due to length so some synthetics may be a better option for packability. Not that windproof even with dense weave but OK. I use it to throw on over other layers as the temp drops. Its pure wool so if wool annoys the soft parts of your body, neck, inner ams etc this will be tough to wear over a t-shirt. I really feel this adds a nice bit of colour to the green scene and looks pretty cool. Had one in green a few years ago and accidentally washed it on a hot wash and it shrink drastically. Be very careful and of course read the label. Overall I would buy again, great product.
