The service from Woodlore was perfect and the active lite shirt is the best bit of kit I have ever bought. I quite literally have not taken it off and it is made in UK. I followed the sizing instructions. Do not go too baggy in my honest opinion. What I have bought to go with it is a merino sleeveless T shirt and that is working really well. The vents make it super flexible and adaptable.

Haven’t had it for long but so far I love this jacket. It’s warm with just a t shirt underneath. It’s light but wind proof and seems fairly waterproof although I haven’t experienced any heavy rain yet. Great to see its made in the UK. Very pleased.

Have a Mountain jacket which is now 30 years old and a Super 6. Both are quality items for cold nights, anything about 6 or 7 degrees and they are a bit warm unless sitting in camp. The Active Lite shirt is a lot lighter and is a generous fit. It feels great on and is good for spring and autumn, still too warm for summer but I run hot when carrying a load. I never wear anything under the shirts or jacket and have always had them next to my skin, they work best that way and you are actually warmer that way from experience, especially when wet. Why four stars, well the price is high but that’s relative to the quality and so that’s not the issue. I find the new pertex a little shiny a bit like a Dr Who extra, and it’s not as water resistant (I don’t mind being wet in a sSuper 6) but the most annoying is it has no neck baffle. This is a bit gapey on the neck line for me and water runs down the gap... Buffalo are brilliant so minor point.

This is an addition to my other Buffalo clothing, I find it always performs well. I have bought this for the milder weather knowing it won't let me down.

This is the best shirt I have ever had in my life to keep me warm. Seriously not over judging the product but it really kept me warm in very cold weather. Moreover, if the weather is partially cold it is possible to open the sides to let some cold air inside. I give it 9/10.

Works very well, would recommend. I have only used this a few times now, but it seems to work in an impressive range of temperatures. Excellent for mountain biking on days that start below freezing and warm up. Also great for casual pace xc ski touring below freezing.
I would rate it five stars if there was some sort of highly breathable fabric that offered some skin protection at below freezing temps under the side and neck zips. With a base layer and shell system, you have some protection against direct contact between skin and cold air when the pit and neck zips are open. Since the Buffalo System shirts are designed to be next to skin, you lose that.

This item came exactly on time - well done. The first time I tried this out on a 13 mile walk along the Dorset coast in January it poured with rain. Yes obviously I was damp inside but no way was I cold. In fact I needed both side zips undone for a while after going up some hills as I was getting a bit warm. As long as you keep moving you keep warm. I also have a windshirt and a special 6 shirt so if things get really bad I can layer up. Brilliant.

Wonderful jacket for active use (running, hiking) 10-30 degrees F and static use up to 50 degrees F. If it gets too warm, simple use of the pit vents allows heat to escape. I found the pertex outer material to be light, soft, and comfortable - not crinkly or heavy like many other softshell or windproof/water resistant jackets. The light fleece wicking interior is very comfortable as well. Fit is true to size. Only issue is that taking it on/off can take a bit of effort, but that would be true for any pullover.
Ordered from the US on a Tuesday and received it in the post by Saturday. Excellent customer service and am looking forward to ordering more items from Raymears.com.

Great bit of kit, the quality of materials and construction is first rate. The top is light and comfortable next to the skin. I use it for mild/cold weather cycling and walking and have found it to be ideal. It feels good to be able to buy something that is not only British but is made in my home town too. Top marks.
