The Ray Mears Canvas Billy Can Bag is a durable protective canvas case, made for the storage and transportation of the classic Zebra Stainless Steel Billy Can - 12 cm. Alternatively, this bag can be used to store the Zebra Stainless Steel Billy Can - 10 cm, GSI Glacier Kettle, GSI Halulite Kettle, or other similarly-sized cooking equipment.

Made from 100% plain weave cotton canvas with a dry wax finish, this small but sturdy bag provides a long-lasting solution to keeping your rucksack and the rest of your kit free of soot and ash after cooking with your Billy Can. This particular bag has been specially designed to house the 12 cm Zebra Billy Can, but can of course be used to store a host of other items of equipment.

The bag is sealed by way of a sewn-in para cord tie, eliminating the risk of any components failing or being lost in the field. The wax finish feels dry to the touch, makes the bag water repellent and will not transfer unlike more traditional waxed and oiled canvas. This canvas takes on a patina in use giving it a rugged, time-worn appearance whilst remaining robust.

As with all canvas goods, take care to ensure that your bag is dry before storing, and keep it in a dry, well-ventilated location. Dirt can be sponged off with warm (not hot) water and a mild detergent if required before sponging again with clean water and air drying.

Very well made, easy to tie, nice leather logo tag. I have two, use one for Zebra billy or Eagle kettle (small) tea bags etc, and the other for my Trangia Triangle stove, meths and matches works well as a light brew / cook kit.

This bag has really added to my billy can set up. It looks and feels beautiful, keeps the can quiet in my bag, and protects items from soot if I have to quickly pack and don't have time to clean up. I can't recommend this bag enough - screams quality.

I was straight away impressed with the quality of the canvas bag. At first I used it to store different equipment but quickly switched it to it's intended use. For storing billy cans and cooking gear it's hard to beat. I like having things organised and tidy and this really helps towards that.
