The Zebra 14cm Billy can, is a solid piece of 'no thrills' kit, a perfect 'Goldilocks' size to store a weeks worth of food inside. I would advise to purchase the Ray Mears canvas carry bag with this item to protect this item from soot contamination whilst in Rucksack. Very good service from the Ray Mears woodlore shop .

These are great cooking billy cans, they are of a sturdy construction, and do not have any seams or corners that make it difficult to clean. Holds my wood gas stove inside as well as some spare fuel if I need it. The can comes with a small bowl which sits snugly in the top of the can, makes a great plate but when not in place allows the lid to fit a little looser and rattle if carried this way in your pack. There are clips on the handles which can be removed (recommended when cooking as they are plastic) but can be attached to secure the lid if transporting the can with the handle. The billy can seems to be at home on a gas stove or camp fire and is an essential companion for me when out in the woods for any length of time. I can also carry a saw blade in the can if I'm carrying my Bahco folding saw.

If you need a pot to use on a camp fire these cans are without a doubt the reference! The size is great to make a stew for 3 to 4 people.

Great pot but there are small plastic bits on the handle that melted. It doesnt stop the pot from working but its odd that there is something on a there that melts so easily.

Hello and Many thanks for your review Mr E J Taylor. The plastic locking clips on the handles are simply optional extras which are included with each billy can as standard. These can be removed at any time should you choose not to use them.

Does what it says on the tin. A great piece of kit, plenty of room to carry food for a day. Would recommend this for anyone having a go at bushcraft. The plastic clips that secure the lid are easily removed when cooking over an open fire and easy to replace again before packing away.

Great size to prepare 3 meals, worth every penny.

Great build quality and size for a family meal. My only reservation was why the retaining clips aren't steel as well.

Nice shiny billys, shame about the plastic clips (which are in the photograph) which hold the handle up, but melt on the gas ring and fire. I spoke to someone in customer services who say they melt and shouldn't be used.
