Larrs Mytting covers the subject matter in more depth than I had expected. The history of the development of tools and the strategic and social importance of wood to Scandinavians right through to all I need to know about processing wood. There were enough figures and statistics to hold my attention without making the subject too dry. I found this to be an interesting book written with authority, affection and full of clear instructions. This book is a little gem.
