Fjallraven Singi Down Jacket - Black

  Wonderful jacket. It doesn't heat you up too much when you're moving, because the down breathes so well. Well thought out pockets all over, good sizes and in just the right places. Looks fantastic new, and I'll be able to re-wax it with Greenland Wax when it gets older. I expected to only be using it in Winter, but its proved handy already this Spring too. Expensive, but a very good investment I think.

  From the moment you unpack this jacket the quality jumps out. The traditional design of this jacket just works. I have used this jacket quite a lot and I am nothing but impressed. I use it regularly on the weekends as a reinforcement jacket after cold water swims. This is a tough jacket and I have no fears being around, and managing the camp fire. I also wore it during the recent cold spell and this is a very warm jacket! Fjällräven at their best!

  This jacket was an absolutely superb addition to my kit on the recent course - Winter Bushcraft in the Northern Forest. It quickly became my go-to warm jacket for this environment, heating up quickly and keeping the wind at bay also. I really like the simple look and function of the jacket - all the adjustments are easy to access and simple to use, which is ideal in an environment where the cold can quickly affect your dexterity. The inside pockets were great for small electronic items and prevented them from freezing. The light weight is also excellent as the jacket remained extremely warm without being heavy. I was honestly very surprised at how much I both liked and came to rely on this jacket on the course. It's an excellent and versatile big coat that provides fast warming and you can absolutely rely on it to do its job in the cold. It will be accompanying me on many more trips in the future.
