  The is very well made and can be adjusted in length as required. The weight is good and could be stored in your car should you break down in bad weather as a survival Jacket. Can also be kept in your rucksack if the weather turns bad, it can also be used as overcoat in normal daily use.

  I’ve only worn the item once as the weather changed to warmer climes. The fit is quite large but it is designed to be worn over the rest of your layers while laying out waiting for that special spot. The adjustment to a short jacket is really convenient for the occasional comfort break if you catch my drift. Reversible camo will come in handy I’m sure when used in snow. Yet again great advice from Woodlore on sizing and product selection. Thanks Paul and Ray.

  As soon as I saw this jacket, I knew that it would be excellent for using in a high seat or deer tower, which it certainly is. I've spent many hours in high seats, still and silent, feeling the cold gradually seeping into my knees and thighs, and this jacket greatly reduces that problem. It's warm, light for its size, and convenient to put on and take off. The sleeves are a good length, and the sizing is generous, which is logical considering that the lower half can be folded up inside the upper half to form a hip length jacket. In full length mode, I would recommend undoing the bottom press studs when walking in woodland as stepping over fallen trees and streams causes them to pop open. It's also quite vulnerable to catching on briars but that's just the nature of a long jacket. It's a great jacket for wildlife watching as the irregular shape disguises the typical human outline. However, there are a couple of modifications which would make this jacket even better. If the hood had a longer peak and a volume adjustment, in an emergency you could pull the hood forward over your face and sleep in this jacket without your nose getting excessively cold. A short zip below the main zip would mean that when sitting, the knees and thighs could be completely sealed in, eliminating draughts and retaining warmth. Everything else is pretty much spot on. A great testament to this jacket is the fact that I always feel slightly resentful when I have to take it off, because it's just so warm and comfortable! This jacket is a permanent fixture in my rucksack now because it's such a great security blanket.

  This jacket is a fantastic bit of kit, well worth the money. The service from Woodlore was great too. I would recommend this to anyone.
