Fjallraven Vidda Pro Trousers - Black/Black - Improved Fit

  Although having read all the positive reviews in the past I had put off buying these trousers simply because of the cost. Previously I'd been getting past on wearing ex army issue trousers, cheap and cost effective but grew tired of people constantly asking if I was ex military. Didn't seem to be an issue twenty years ago, but in todays society it's more of a thing. Anyway seeing trousers reduced in the Woodlore sale I decided to bite the bullet and give them a go. They're in a class of their own with not only the G1000 material but the thought and design of the pockets and the stud fastenings on the bottoms of the legs. The only thing I would like to see added is a zip pocket or two but that's not a deal breaker. Oh and one other thing for us gym boys with the manly thighs, go two sizes up on your usual waist size not one. I'm a 36 in jeans but need the 40 in these for the comfort fit. I bought the 38 but found them a little snug once wearing them by which time was to late to return them. And for the record I like these so much I bought another three pairs one in each colour. Go on buy them, buy once cry once.

  Great pair of walking trousers I'd been eyeing up for some time as reviews great, took me one walk to break them in and felt immediatly comfortable. Size is true and great they have in between sizes, Fjallraven - can't go wrong, great brand, years of experience. Always come to Ray Mears Bushcraft shop as guaranteed quality, will always have a vast array of available sizes and the price is very reasonable when compared to other outlets.

  Outstanding service, first time ordering from Ray Mears/Woodlore and after calling to discuss my last minute requirement for some gear, I got my order within 48h of placing (over the Christmas period) - now that’s customer service. As for the trousers, this is my first Fjallraven product and I’m blown away by the quality - will be put to the test in Norway over the next few weeks so can report back about durability then - but my hopes are very high! Already the most comfortable, smart looking and practical (pockets) trouser I own and seem like the best fit for landscape photography.

  Heavier weight than typical thin synthetic walking trousers, which was what I wanted, but does mean they’re too much in warmer weather. Very tough, with good water resistance. Fairly relaxed fit, very comfortable, with enough material to move freely.

  A great pair of trousers. Sizing (52 reg) perfect for 33in inside leg. Excellent tailoring and material quality. I would definitely recommend this product. Arrived on time, well packaged. Overall, a great experience. Thanks!

  Excellent trousers. I take a 42/32 in Levi Jeans and size 60 were spot on for me. Next day delivery, and it was free. Will use Woodlore as they were the cheapest on the net. 10 /10.

  The delivery from Woodlore was second to none. I've worn the trousers twice now. They are comfortable and a good fit. The layout of the pockets works for me. The lace hook is a great feature and works well. In light rain the off the shelf waxing was repellent enough. I got caught in some heavy, wind driven rain and got wet, as expected really. The trousers dried out quick enough though. Very pleased with my purchase.
