The Fjallraven Vidda Pro Women’s Trousers are one of the most popular models to come from the Swedish brand. Made from their ultra-durable G-1000 fabric, they are wind- and water-resistant, extremely versatile, and will no doubt become your go-to trousers for the outdoors. As the name suggests, these are the women's version of our most popular men's trousers, the Fjallraven Vidda Pro Trousers.

Forming a fundamental part of Fjallraven's 'Trekking' range, the Vidda Pro Trousers feature pre-shaped knees for ease of movement, reinforced panels over the rear and knees for durability, and six practical pockets, including map and axe pockets. Each leg ending is finished with an elastic strap adjustment with press button closure and boot hook.

The Vidda Pro Women’s Trousers are made from Fjällraven's classic G-1000 Original material. This densely woven fabric is a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, making the material windproof and outstandingly hardwearing. It is also water-resistant thanks to an impregnation of Greenland Wax, which can be reapplied when necessary throughout the life of the product. This high-strength fabric also wicks moisture away from the body, making the Vidda Pro Women’s Trousers ideal for active use in the outdoors all year round.

I find these trousers exceptionally comfortable, and the number and size of pockets very useful. The fit seems pretty good to me (I bought a size 10 and they were as expected).

Bought for my wife, I have the men’s version. Perfect for camping and walking. Tough and hard wearing. Versatile pair of trousers. Easy to add knee pads and adding the waterproof wax is simple but probably best done at home before your trip.

These are just excellent trousers and did us proud during a very cold and wet trip to Iceland. Thoughtfully designed and well-made, they have pockets for everything including an ingenious one for holding a mobile phone safely. Already lightly waxed when they arrived, we added more wax to help keep them totally waterproof, and this is very easy with a bar of Fjallraven's own wax and a hairdryer. These are quite long and a tad long for my wife but she rolled up the bottoms slightly and all was well. It looks like these are going to last. Woodlore packed and shipped these very quickly and efficiently, and we have no problems in recommending both the product and the retailer.

Apart from the trousers fitting well and true to size, the fabric makes them perfect for most outdoor uses, they are hard-wearing but I wore them in 36 degrees in Africa too, I was warm so wouldn't advise for much above 30 degrees but I absolutely love them. The fit hugs the hips and is baggy around the leg. I'd like to thank the staff at Woodlore who were really helpful on the phone and got the trousers out to me extra quick on a next day delivery as my trip was last minute, excellent customer service. They have the expertise and willingness to help you just can't find in the high street shops who sell the same trousers. So glad I found them.
