  Firstly, I must say that the service provided by Woodlore is second to none. The kit they sell is some of the best in the marketplace, in addition to having been tried and tested in the field. Therefore, it will cost accordingly, but when looking around at what others are charging, Woodlore are extremely competitive, more so considering their customer care. The first pair of these boots had a faulty slip, which was exchanged without quibble. I cannot praise the young lady who handled my complaint highly enough, extremely helpful and all sorted within a matter of days. Having worn wellies of all types all my life, I have to say these are the most comfortable. I mainly use them for multi-mile dog walks in Cumbria, and they have served me well through the cold, wet Cumbrian winter. The build quality is excellent, the inner neoprene keeps your feet warm, and they possess great grip. As for durability, only time will tell; however, I have no doubts they will outlast my previous neoprene boots. Thank you, Woodlore, and I look forward to many more happy miles in my Percussion Rambouillet boots

  I bought these boots as my other neoprene boots from a different company thought to be made in this country but were made in China only lasted one month so they went back. I paid more for these and after looking at the description I bought them, they came in good time. I am very pleased with the feel and quality, very warm and with a good pair of socks on, still easy to take off. The only thing is these too are made in China so I hope that the seam on these does not peal away the same. I would love to recommend these but have not used them long enough.

  Nice boots, warm, solid and good looking. Sizing is very generous (volume and width) so a second pair of socks fit easily. Removable insole helps with drying. I lived in mine this winter and they show very little sign of use. As ever, Woodlore service was efficient and I received them next-day

  This is my second pair of these boots. The first pair had a defect, the rubber split on the upper. They were exchanged with no quibble. Personally it doesn’t detract in any way to my first review. The customer service is just faultless with Woodlore. Which is why they are my go to supplier for outdoor kit. The boots are very comfy to wear for long periods and the zips held up well. It was 7 months before the previous pair defected and up until then I hadn’t had a single problem. So I highly recommend them. The new ones are brown, as opposed to the original green. I’m told by those that bother about these things they look much better!

  These are my go to boots for rainy days so they are getting lots of use at the moment. I've had them just over a year and worn them mainly for muddy dog walks but they work great for gardening as well. I am a UK 10 for most footwear and I ordered these in a 9.5 after checking with Woodlore as I wanted to be sure of a good fit. They are spacious but either a thick pair of socks or two pairs does the trick. I wouldn't be sure about a smaller size. Overall these are great at keeping feet warm and dry.

  I bought these just in time for the hottest driest period of UK weather in years! Eventually though, it broke and these came into their own. The usual brilliant service from Woodlore started with a phone call with regards to the size. I normally in wellies, take a 10, which is a size larger than these, which was out of stock. So I rang them to see what was happening with new stock. The subject of size came up and I was assured these would be fine. Because I could send them back I took a punt and they are perfect in the sizing. They are well made and feel a solid construction. The zips are very positive when fastening and unfastening, and they don't slip down. I don't get the little strip of rubber that flips across the zip, but it's there and fastens securely, so I use them! The treads are very well made and grip well. I've used them walking the dog across fields and tracks as well as normal footpaths. I've also used them at our friends farm where they coped well with muddy walks herding sheep and cattle, as well as the dogs. Deep puddles, very wet clingy thick grass, deep sticky mud as well as other natural 'puddles' left by the cattle and sheep, were not a problem from leakage or slippage. They clean very easily and the treads are easy to wash out at the end of the day. The Neoprene lining is hot, even on rainy days and you only need thin socks. My usual wool welly socks are too hot and aren't needed, certainly in the summer. It might be different in winter, but I don't think it will be that different. All in all a good buy, and one I'm sure I'll be very happy with.

  Quite simply a lovely welly. Great value for the money. Not a brand I’d heard of before but I’m impressed with the quality. Did come up a little big size wise but I’m not loosing any sleep over that.
