The Fjallraven Ovik Flat Cap is a light and handy cap made from cool, fast-drying G-1000 Lite.

Inspired by traditional flat caps but with an updated design the Ovik Flat Cap features a short, stiff brim and a little folded leather logo to the side.

Adaptable with Greenland Wax this cap is highly breathable, durable, quick-drying, water-resistant and windproof. Ideal for outdoor adventures.

Very expensive for what it is and the sizes come out too small. Couldn't be bothered sending it back so gave it to my son. UPDATE: I’m generally very pleased with everything you guys sell through the site, it’s always of the highest quality and you’ll have my business for years to come. No issue with the quality of the hat, it’s just small. I’d measured my head as 57cm so I was at the upper end of the fit on that size (but thought snug on that size would be better than loose on the one up). My son’s delighted with it (-;

It fits just like a flat cap but is lighter, windproof and water resistant. There are no decent pictures of folk wearing it on the web (that I can find) so think of it as a summer / spring / autumn flat cap and you've got it.

A well fitting cap. Comfortable and good looking too. I've not yet waterproofed it with the Greenland Wax, but will do before I wear it out in the rain. Great service from the Woodlore team. I'm looking forward to what I buy next.

As the item description said it is a very lightweight hat and a perfect fit for the size (58 to 59cm) I purchased, I probably will not impregnate it with greenland wax as it will just clog up the breathability of the hat too much, the hat dried out very quickly after a good soaking anyway,the hat shape will not be to everyone's liking but that is what makes it different and I for one like things that are different, a good purchase.
