Fjallraven Singi 28 Backpack - Dark Olive

  The Singi 28 has quickly become one of my favourite pieces of outdoor gear. As expected from Fjällräven, the construction is superb, offering durability and performance that stands up to the demands of the trail. This pack is ideally suited for day hikes, with a design that fits perfectly and stays comfortable all day long—even when fully loaded. One of the standout features is the fully-opening main compartment, which makes packing and accessing gear incredibly easy. And the two internal zip pockets are ideal for storing smaller items. The top compartment, which also holds the included rain cover, is perfect for stashing hats and gloves. The detachable waist belt includes two small zipped pockets, which I’ve found especially useful for energy bars and trail mix. For longer adventures—such as two- or three-day hikes—I attach the optional Singi side pockets. One easily holds my stove system and daily rations, while the other carries water storage and a filter. This setup frees up valuable space in the main compartment and keeps everything organized and accessible. Whether you're planning a single-day trek or a lightweight overnight trip, the Singi 28 is a versatile, reliable pack that’s built to perform. Highly recommended.

  Purchased this for my wife, who is very pleased with it as a replacement for her worn out Osprey pack. The simple 'boxy' shape combined with the full zipped opening means that packing and accessing kit is easy compared with a traditional top-loading, flap lidded sack. The semi-rigid back, adjustable harness and removable hip belt are comfortable and the zipped pouches on the hip belt provide easy access for small items. She's not used her hydration bladder with it yet, but the rain cover has seen a lot of use over Xmas/New Year 23/24!! As with all Fjallraven gear, the pack is well made from high quality materials and whilst not the lightest 28L pack, I expect it will stand up to prolonged use better than her previous day pack.   I was deliberating this purchase due to its price but it's a great piece of kit! Sturdy and practical. The colour is muted which gives it a little more versatility than a DPM would. It is sturdy and whilst I haven't used it in serious rain, there is a rain cover, and the full opening zip is great for easy access. Very pleased with my purchase!
