A very good sharp saw, I already have a Pocket Boy Saw so I knew what to expect with the Gomboy Outback version. I have got to say this is lovely to use while wild camping and makes light work of cutting fire wood.

Really good saw as you'd expect from a Silky Fox Outback Saw! I've got the big boy Outback too but this Gomboy gets more use than the big boy. The case belt loop is a rubbish design though. It's a pain to open the case when it's on your belt but the saw fits in your pocket easy enough so the case is just used for storage.

This saw is absolutely brilliant. Makes light work of jobs other saws struggle to cope with. I've been making a log store and all the other saws I tried using to cut the 4 inch x 4 inch uprights were useless. The Silky did the job easily. The supplied case is functional but a bit boring from an aesthetic point of view so I knocked up a great kydex sheath for it. Highly recommended product.

Fantastic saw, extremely sharp and well made. I wanted a Silky saw large enough to cut up felled branches in my garden, whilst small enough to carry in my rucksack. This model fitted my dual-purpose needs precisely. Amazing service, arrived next day after order placed. Very pleased with my purchase. I shall be back to purchase the sheath on my next order.

I bought the Gomboy for my partner who already has a Zubat. The Gomboy is more discreet. The blade is excellent and cuts though a surprisingly thick piece of fallen tree branch with extreme ease. It opens with a reassuring click letting you know it isn’t going to come undone accidentally. He prefers the material of the handle to the plastic on some of the other knives because it is more grippy. He has no complaints about the solid plastic case as some other reviews mention.
