  This is my first piece of equipment made by savotta, but it certainly won't be my last. A good, solid, dependable rucksack just as I had envisaged. Everything is well put together and the bag feels as though it will handle any amount of rough treatment. I was sceptical about the lack of padding on the shoulder straps, but honestly, as long as I keep the weight sensible, it's the most comfortable rucksack I've worn. Normally I would see the full length zip as a potential weak point of the bag, but considering how well its made I have no worries, even though it will probably be of little use to me personally. Modularity is important to me, and I eagerly await Woodlore restocking the vertical pockets so I can add a couple more small compartments when necessary. If you're considering this bag, don't hesitate, Woodlore have it at a good price compared to other shops at time of writing, and it's a sound investment that should last a very long time.

  Very strong and well built rucksack. It’s also comfortable when loaded. The side pockets are shallow and not so wide, more suitable for carrying an axe or a rifle rather then a water bottle. The lid straps are extra long so you can carry a roll mat but if you want the mat attached to the bottom of your rucksack extra webbing straps would be needed but that’s more down to personal preference.

  Savotta have a great reputation for a reason and this is a quality bit of kit. Absolutely bombproof but this comes with a weight penalty, it’s not the lightest on the market. Doesn’t have load lifters and this caused me to question it a bit before buying. After the first trip out with reasonable weight, any concerns were put to bed. Comfortable and stable, it carries really well. The shoulder straps are quite thin but wide and they spread the load well. All in all, I am chuffed to bits with it. Fantastic service from Woodlore. Rapid despatch and communication was great.

  Usual great service from Woodlore. However, I would say this bag is vastly overpriced. Build quality and look is great, but the actual design and features are out-dated and badly implemented. For example the bottle holder pockets on the side wont allow bottles in when the bag is full or even half full. Poor closing mechanism - get a Karrimor sf for half the price and 10 times the bag.

  Fast delivery to Sweden as usual. It is a high quality backpack made in Finland. The MOLLE system makes it versatile and the size is perfect for 1-2 day trips. It sits very nicely on the back. It feels durable and almost impossible to tear. I look forward to using it for many hunting and fishing trips in Sweden.

  Perfect service from Woodlore, as usual. The pack is well made and designed. Supposed to be 22 litre, but seems about the same capacity as my old Berghaus Munro. Much more flexible and expandable though, with floating lid and long compression straps. Not to mention ample PALS webbing for MOLLE attachment. Harness is comfortable and I especially like the hip lumbar pad and back pads, which keep your back comfortable, cool and sweat-free. Far better than mesh backed packs. My only criticism is the side zip access, which I regard as pointless. A pack for all seasons. Pricey, but recommended.
