The Hilleberg Unna Tent is a fully free-standing, lightweight and spacious one-person tent. It is Hilleberg's simplest solo tent and is supremely easy to pitch in a wide range of locations, including rocky shores, narrow ridge lines and dense forests.
Thanks to it dome design, the Unna requires no pegs for pitching, and the simple full-sleeve and tensioner pole system make for a quick and easy setup. Rather than a vestibule, the Unna has a single, spacious interior that easily accommodates one user and their gear or - in a pinch - two people. By disconnecting a corner of the inner tent, one can create a virtual vestibule and keep the inner tent dry while entering or exiting in rainy conditions.
The Unna handles snow loading well, and its roominess and light weight lend themselves very well to mobile journeys, where you pitch your tent each day. Little wonder then that it has become a favourite of paddle tourers, backpackers, mountaineers, cycle tourers and casual campers alike.
Another important feature of the Unna is the material used to make it; Kerlon 1200 is renowned as the strongest, ultra-lightweight tent fabric out there. Its remarkable tear strength makes it stronger than many so-called 'heavy-duty' or 'expedition-grade' fabrics.
