The Osprey NATO Water Bottle is a classic piece of outdoor equipment, having been standard issue to the British Army for many decades. It holds 1 litre of water and is made of a rigid black plastic that will not split or break like other imitation bottles on the market. The BCB NATO Crusader Cup is a great accompaniment and comfortably sits on top of the Osprey Water Bottle for transportation.

Please note, historically the BCB NATO Crusader Cup used to fit on the bottom of the Osprey NATO Water Bottle but over many years the size of the bottle has slightly increased.

This heavy duty water bottle features a seal in the lid to prevent leakage, while the lid is permanently attached to save you losing it. When purifying collected water with chemicals, the black plastic of the Osprey Water Bottle prevents light from affecting the purification process, making this a safer choice.

The real-deal canteen! I've been fortunate to get a couple of these from Ray Mears - passed onto friends and colleagues - and they are as tough as anything. They're perhaps not the most stylish water bottles out there, but they keep water cool and crisp, and with a good clean now and then can hold up to a ton of abuse! Ray Mears always delivers safe and well within time. Thank you.

I used these bottles way back in the day and having just been presented with a rescue Malinois thought I'd get myself one to take out on walks. Robust, no leaks, and holds enough for both myself and the Dog. Takes me right back, and I agree never bettered. Great product, the genuine article, and fantastic service from Woodlore. I've been using any old one litre water bottle, like Nalgene, but they are usually see-through. If you're treating water with chlorine, the bottle needs to be opaque to avoid UV rays from nullifying the chlorine's effects. That's why military bottles are the way they are. I learned all this on the Fundamental Bushcraft course and decided that it was time to invest. I'm glad I did. Thank you Woodlore team!

The Osprey NATO Water Bottle (NATO stock number 8465-99-973-6665 ) does exactly what it sets out to do without leaking, and the wide neck opening facilitates the inside of the bottle drying out after post-use washing. A great lightweight water bottle, and matched with Woodlore's excellent service there's nothing to dislike and everything to praise.

The water bottle is great. I have one complaint, the water bottle is too tight for the cup I purchased for it. Pulling it out of the cup is vary difficult.

I just bought the brilliant Crusader Cup so I couldn't leave without buying an Osprey water bottle too. It'd be like having a rod without a reel, they work so well together and such a wise use of space.
