The 550 Nylon Type III Paracord is an essential piece of kit which no outdoor enthusiast should be without. Tough and non-rotting, this cord is capable of supporting up to 550 lbs, hence the name. If you've ever used this stuff you'll know that it's great and has a million different uses.

It's an ideal product to use with your bow drill to create fire by friction, as part of a snare to catch food, or simply as a place to hang your clothes at camp. Cord usage is vast in Bushcraft and this product is included on many of Woodlore's Kit Lists.

I have used this paracord for many different things; loops in tool handles, tying up gear for storage, craft projects with my children and even just knot practice. It's always useful to have around.

Very strong as expected. You can also pick the fibres out from inside to make a makeshift fishing line if you get stuck. I also use this paracord for boot laces and obviously everything else I need cordage wise around camp. Good stuff.

Again, very good quality and value. Very compliant structure, ends seal very well. Spare lengths have been cobra-braided into short zip-pulls and key-tags. The material braids neatly and tightly. It recovers fully upon un-braiding. Very good products and service from Woodlore.

I have, over the years, bought many different paracords and can say 100% this is the best I have tried. Holds and releases knots well, wet or dry. Very durable. When cut to length, the ends seal well. Many others don't. I always keep a 15m length in my pack no matter what the activity. Highly recommended!
