The Nalgene Travel Kit is perfect for carrying toiletries, medicine and food stuffs in small quantities when out in the field or travelling. Each kit contains a selection of 6 guaranteed leakproof, durable bottles - some with independent screw caps, some with handy dispensing caps - and 2 storage jars. All containers are made from sturdy plastics and are dishwasher safe.

To test that the bottles are completely leakproof, Nalgene fill each one up before pressurising them. If the contents remain completely contained, they consider the bottle to pass the test and be worthy of being called leakproof. Their jars are also individually tested for leaks, but are not pressurised in this process. Though also leakproof, the jars are therefore recommend as a better choice for thicker liquids such as lotions or gels. And, of course, they are great for pills and tablets, or alternatively, foodstuffs such as salt and pepper.

Great companion for backpacking or overland. Lift your cooking to a different level. Spices or condiments, medicine, cooking oil or even a dash of rum. These very handy containers just do the job, enjoy! Price is very reasonable and the delivery is always a good experience. Recommend

A useful set of containers for travel but they don’t appear to be leakproof unfortunately as the one I used to transport some liquid medication leaked. Fortunately I had placed it in a zip-lock bag so the rest of my luggage was protected. Perhaps it was the pressurised aircraft cabin? I don’t know.

Dear Chris, We are very sorry to hear that you experienced an issue with one of the containers in this pack whilst on your travels. This is the first time we have heard of any issues regarding one of these bottles not meeting their description of being leakproof. However, included in the set are two jars which do not go through the same pressurised test in manufacture that the bottles go through, so these are recommended to be used with thicker liquids such as lotions or gels, and solid items such as pills or alternatively condiments like salt and pepper. Such a useful collection of containers, Dishwasher safe as well. I use one every day to transport milk in my bag to work. My children use them to take stuff in for cooking at school, camping trips. Just a great go to item to have in the cupboard.

Great selection of containers, for everything from cooking oil to stove fuel (Bio Ethanol). Very good seal, with no seepage so far. Cheaper than elsewhere and prompt delivery. Superb!

There are lots of uses for a little things like this. Easy to pack. Use for storage cooking oil, ketchup, salt, pepper, tablet medication etc.
