A great addition to any camp, easy to attach to a dry bag and the seal is really water tight. Would certainly recommend.

Great product for our camp site and HQ where we have no washing facilities. We had to replace one, as the bucket it was fixed too had fallen on the ground and broke the Andy Handy. Shame they are not that robust, but I suppose, it would cost more otherwise.

One of the most important bits of kit you can have. There is no excuse to ruin a trip by contaminating yours, or someone else's, food. I installed this into a small dry bag and always invite the entire family to wash their hands comfortably before a meal in the wilderness. With this installed, we are all more likely to go wash our hands that extra time, because it is so easy and available.

I first used the Andy Handy on the Bush Chef course with Ray Mears and was immediately impressed with it. It's well made and is such a simple idea that you wonder why no-one thought of it before. Unfortunately the packaging doesn't give instructions in English but the product page on the Woodlore website explains how to install it into a dry bag. I bought some fine nylon mesh from the local fabric shop and made a small bag in which a bar of soap is permanently in place, this is attached to the bottom of the bag. The whole unit lives in a small stuff sack to prevent soap getting over the rest of my kit. Alcohol gel is a great step forward in camp hygiene, but nothing compares with the feeling of washing your hands with soap and water, and this little unit allows you to do just that.

I first saw the Andy Handy used by Ray on the Fundamental course. I immediately wanted one as did everyone else. What a handy little item it is. I use it whether backpacking or in a day camp. When backpacking every ounce counts so I'm glad it's made of plastic. In fact I like it so much I ordered another to use outside my chicken coop.

Superb little bit of kit with a bit of work to add to the bottom of a dry bag. It makes a superb quick hand wash system when I’m doing fish processing demonstrations. I was a little surprised that the main body is plastic not metal although it makes it nice a light when carrying out and about.

It's a simple but effective piece of kit, it has been used in the field on expeditions and in the work place on construction sites.

Excellent price of kit if a little expensive for a bit of plastic. However not being metal makes it very lightweight and you're more likely to carry it.

Ingenious. Brilliant for good camp hygiene and no messing with dirty bowls of water.

Awesome. It was quite expensive for what it is considering multiple currency conversions. Euro to GBP to AUD, I'm in Australia and this was the only place I could find that delivers here. It took several weeks to get here and to be honest it was a bit underwhelming to look at it as it is small and made of plastic.
However it performs well, packs up small and perfect dispenser for washing hands. It is a good investment and well worthwhile. I installed in a drybag and mounted on my tent post with bucket under. You never need worry about dirty hands now whilst camping which is particularly good for cooking.
The mechanism is fail safe as long as clean water is used and intuitive to use with a little tap up to release water. I particularly like the amount of water dispensed. It is sufficient and helps conserve water. I usually camp in places where you have to bring your own so I think this is something anyone that is in a similar situation would appreciate, be it car camping, hiking, or something in between.
Installation was easy. I found you need to hold the pin down when installing to make it work.
I found this to be one of my favourite pieces of kit. Clean hands are something we take for granted but something we quickly notice is missing when we are out and it's hard to do. I recommend this device for anyone that has to bring their own water and is space and weight conscious. Would also be good for sheds with no water installed in a bucket. Thanks Woodlore team for a great unique product.
