The Paramo Halkon Traveller is a durable, cool and lightweight travel jacket for people who need lots of pockets, such as wildlife watchers, photographers, fieldworkers and active travellers.

The Halkon Traveller is ideal for activities in warm weather where we often need clothing that provides protection from sun, wind and showers, is tough and durable. If treated with Nikwax Cotton Proof, Nikwax Cotton+ is a lightweight, quick-drying fabric well suited to providing such protection.

Through careful design and engineering, a significant number of items can be transported securely in 15 well-placed pockets without discomfort, ensuring that the weight is well distributed across the whole shoulder area for comfort. Items can easily be accessed without disruption to wildlife.

Access to external and internal pockets when wearing a pack hip strap is maintained by allowing the strap to pass behind the front of the jacket through two-way vents in the side seams, which also provide direct cooling.

Nikwax Cotton+ is a blend of cotton with modern synthetic fibres. By combining the best properties of both fibres, Nikwax Cotton+ offers easy wear and easy care qualities - it is fast-drying, lightweight and comfortable to wear in warm weather but also robust and protective. As well as blocking the wind, biting insects and harmful UV (UPF 50+) rays, it will, if maintained with Nikwax Cotton Proof, provide shower resistance too.
