A cushioned instep and arch provides a better fit and gives more support and less pressure on feet for a more comfortable hike while the low profile toe seam provides protection against rubbing or irritation to your feet.

You always need a comfortable pair of socks. Finding a brand of socks that is consistent through the years It’s hard to find nowadays. Thorlos socks are up there with the best . I picked this type of yarn design KX for the slightly extra protection on your pressure points on your feet. I have worn them a couple of times now in the winter time and they do keep your feet quite snug as I never really have a problem with cold feet. The extra padding is not that thick when you have your shoes or boots on, it doesn’t seem that they are quite thick. But they are comfortable socks. Hopefully they should last quite a long while, I can’t see that I will use them through the summertime as they are quite thick.

Bought these socks for their 'extra' comfort / padding and not disappointed.They are quite thick and therefore more suited to cold conditions.

Excellent, only taken up hill walking after lengthy absence so was suffering with sore feet, these socks have been great help. I would recommend.
