The Bahco 23-24 Raker Tooth Blade is a high quality saw blade designed for use with green wood, and will fit most makes of bowsaw frame.

It is also the same saw blade that comes with the Ray Mears Folding Buck Saw, allowing you to now purchase this as a replacement blade.

Alternatively, this blade is ideal for those making their own bowsaw, as illustrated in one of the product pictures.

Always handy to have a spare and one on the saw if you are travelling away for a while. If you keep the edge safe, you can just keep a spare in your bag. They weigh nothing and cut through wood like a veritable beaver. Easy to rig a makeshift saw out of any suitable bent stick and better than an axe in many situations. I often use my smaller pocket saw but sometimes you need something with a bit of grunt and this blade is what you need. Good quality and the usual excellent delivery from Woodlore.

Goes through a pile of damp wood really well. I didn't realise what a difference the correct tooth pattern would make - little or no trouble with binding.

I bought this blade because I wanted to see if there was a difference between this and a B&Q blade i had just got for my new saw, and boy did i find out! you can get a new blade for about £5 but this Bahco is in a different league, it's super sharp and very well made. Postage as normal with Woodlore is first rate, all my stuff arrives in 2-3 days after I put the order in.
