The Savotta MPP Foam Mat, as its name implies, is a highly versatile multi-purpose foam mat. The MPP Mat has been designed to fit into the Jääkäri S daypack’s hydration bladder pocket where it can serve as a light support frame providing additional carrying comfort.

The Savotta Mat is made of 1000D Cordura-laminated closed-cell foam and the bottom side has an additional, extremely water-resistant surface layer made of natural rubber fabric. This helps to keep the mat firmly in place on any surface.

The forest is never fully dry, so there’s rarely an abundance of places where you can sit or lay your gear down. The MPP Foam Mat solves this problem, and ensures you always have a dry spot at the late-night campfire.

A neat little sit mat. Not particularly thick but I’ve found it quite comfortable. Seems to have the same non-slip material on one side as the Savotta sleep mat. I have a couple of Savotta packs but use this most often with my Frost River Sojourn scout pack. Works brilliantly as a back support for the pack & should fit almost any day sack. I’ve also used it to fan a campfire back to life so it is a great multifunctional bit of kit weighing very little. Rapid delivery & great service as usual.

Used as a seat pad while birding. Very handy, it makes the rucksack more useable when carrying solid items such as a scope or binoculars.
