I ordered this bag at the end of November 2025, so have been using it for some time now. I usually prefer a shoulder bag, rather than a rucksack, for carrying my essentials for a day walk, or just a day in town and this bag fits the bill for me. It looks smart and the fabric, webbing straps and metal buckles all look good quality and built to last. This bag replaces my previous shoulder bag (a different brand) that was approximately fifteen years old and generally on its last legs. I was reluctant to let it go, but this is an excellent replacement and I look forward to many years of good service from it. I was hesitant to get a bag that was bigger dimensions than my previous one, but have found the extra space very useful and even when full I do not find it too bulky and it sits well at my side without feeling awkward at all. The design is well thought-out with a zipped pouch at the front to store smaller items securely and the rear section with a central popper closure I use for carrying a magazine neatly without it getting folded or creased. The central strap under the top flap can be pulled down tightly over the bag, which makes loose items in the central compartment pretty well secured and it has a quick release fitting, so you do not have to undo and re-thread the buckle every time you open the bag to put something in or take something out.
