One of the many wonderful aspects of Bushcraft is that it will often take you to amazing and picturesque locations, so it is no great surprise that photography and Bushcraft often go hand in hand. Likewise, observing wildife is another pastime often shared by Bushcrafters, being an integral part of understanding the outdoors.

Bird watching and photography are also closely related when it comes to the clothing and equipment required. Long periods of sitting still in the outdoors can be made much comfier when you're equipped with a decent pair of gloves, warm socks and a hat, while a jacket and trousers with plenty of pockets will help you to store small pieces of kit and your notepad. Another useful item to have is a lightweight headtorch, allowing you to manage your equipment and settings with both hands in low light.
