This is a well made knife, sharp on arrival and well packed. The lock is effective and the knife is more comfortable to hold than one might think because of its slim build. It takes little room in one's pocket and the weight is enough to confirm its presence. I like the colour and the stainless blade. Obviously it is not legal carry but it is a useful tool to carry for camping and bushcraft. Good value for money too!

Great little folder! Highly impressed with this K55K in the rather rare and attractive 'reed green' colour way. A very slim but sturdy knife with a decent length blade for any camp tasks. Lightweight too. One slightly sharp 90 degree corner where the blade folds, making me slightly wary for my trouser pockets. I see this more of a go to jacket pocket knife. So slim and low profile that you'd forget it was there. A pleasure to own one of these classic folders that have stood the test of time for over 100 years. Great knife for the price as well - top stuff Woodlore. I can see this knife lasting me a long time. Incredibly swift despatch & delivery from the Woodlore team once again. Thanks a lot.

Fast delivery, great customer service in response to a query I had about the knife. Feels solid and comfortable in the hand, great for using around the kitchen for butter and bread cutting, and bacon flipping in the frying pan.
Looking forward to going foraging with it in future.
Many thanks Woodlore Team!

I previously purchased three knives, this the second time because of high satisfaction with first order. I intend to give these three as Christmas gifts.

Fantastic simple knife that feels great in the hand and agile to use. Love the colour. Price and next day delivery make me a happy man. Buy one!

I brought this MSR Hydration Kit as I broke by accident my old one. The price it's actually the lowestin the market and the quality it's absolutely excellent. It's made in USA and delivered almost the next day. I've contacted MSR in the UK and I asked if they have the part I damaged then, guess what?
The guys just send me the whole kit without any charge so this one that I already brought from RM Bushcraft I will keep as spare. I can't believe when I received the product. I strongly recommend MSR and their products, never been let down.

Bought as a work knife for horticulture and immediately fell in love with it, and it is now my favourite knife. Super simple and strong design, I can see why it's such a classic design that's hung around. Feels great in the hand, nice weight, solid locking mechanism. The loop on the bottom feels really strong and bonus colour scheme.

Bought in 2015. Still razor sharp. Excellent folding knife with a great story.

Fantastic version of the legendary k55k. Wanted a stainless version to use for sea fishing. Great stuff.

Great simple folding knife. Lock mechanism is solidly built and functions very well. Blade is sharp but could do with an additional sharpening. Since the knife handle is a sheet of metal folded in two, the under portions, especially at the end of the handle can be rough and a little sharp. Possible filing can smooth it out. Other than that, Mercator K55K is a great knife.

I bought this knife as an every day carry and it has been extremely useful. The construction is excellent with a very sharp blade. I have a band aid at the ready if you are ham fisted like me. The knife is good in the hand, the locking and unlocking mechanism can be operated with just one hand. You can get these knives with belt clips, but in my experience it best to keep a knife like this in the pocket as belt clipped knives have a habit of detaching when you least want them to. In summary it is an excellent knife which represents great value for money.

Good weight for a pocket knife. The blade is superb, served me well already on a weekend fishing camp.

I bought this knife to replace one that I lost at work. I am a farmer, and my knife is used on a daily basis to carry out various tasks. This knife is fantastic, it is very tough, stays sharp for long periods of time, and is very easy to get a very sharp edge. I would recommend this knife to anybody needing a great knife that will not break the bank.

An essential part of my EDC (Every Day Carry). So slim you don't even know you've got it in your pocket, yet strong enough for most jobs. It holds of good edge without the need to constantly re-sharpen. Overall excellent and highly recommended.

The slim blade of this knife makes it very versatile, it has good steel that holds its edge.

Classic 18th century industrial product, designed with a build quality keeping up with modern age usabilty. Yes there are more modern steels used today in high end knifes and may probably have more technical finesse, but it is a well built common stainless knife steel still good for EDC. Thumbs up 5 stars for a good price/value knife.

Simple, functional design. Beautiful colour. The blade was razor sharp. Tried and tested design, with a Woodlore touch.

Like many of the reviews I read here state, this is a really high quality pocket knife for the money. A great size blade, supremely easy and smooth to open and equally so to close. Very slim and light so no bulk when in your pocket, but sufficiently weighty and sturdy enough to give you confidence in using it. Very pleased indeed.

This is a great knife at a great price (nearly half the price of some other competitors). I've been meaning to buy one for years, as it's s design classic, just as Opinels and Douk-Douks are, but when I saw that there was a Ray Mears version in green, I had to get it! My knife turned up super sharp, with great lock up and no blade play whatsoever. It's not the world's most sophisticated knife, but a reliable 'beater' that would provide useful service for years and holds a little piece of history too.

Great product so far. The blade could be a little sturdier (compared to a Leatherman blade), but very hard to find faults for the price - great purchase!

Excellent product. Exactly what I ordered. Delivered in 2 days. It had a good edge when delivered which needed a little sharpening to reach best working condition. Many thanks.

Generally a great knife for the price and the exclusive colour is nice although I would personally have preferred a carbon steel option. Out of the box the edge grind is rough and "toothy" but much sharper than it seems at first glance and can be made even sharper.

The only issues with the knife is that within days of receiving it the black paint in the black cat and K55K logos had severely warn off which is admittedly only a cosmetic issue, although a disappointing one. The other issue is a bit more serious in that the front end of the cutting edge digs in to the plastic spacer at the back end of the handle, causing me to have to run the blade over a hone steel regularly to get the edge true again.

Over all it has it's flaws and yet still manages to be a great knife to handle and cut with.
