The Ray Mears Quick-Release Lanyard is a great way of keeping your tools or bits of kit close to hand throughout the day, without the worry that you're going to lose them somewhere out in the field. Now updated with the Victorinox Quick Release Coupling manufactured in stainless steel for an even more durable product.

Perfect for fire sticks, folding knives, compasses etc., one end is attached to your belt and the other to your chosen piece of kit which you can then store in your pocket. When needed, your kit can quickly and easily be freed by way of the quick-release mechanism.

Featuring a hand-made leather belt loop, complete with hand-burnished edges and finished with a traditional crease line and brass eyelet. The RM Snowshoe logo is embossed on the front.

All of our leather goods are hand-made in England by a craftswoman with over three decades of experience. The leather is vegetable tanned with full, natural grain, and hand-dyed in house to the unique Woodlore colour.

Returns

A full refund or exchange will be given provided that the items have not been worn or used, and are returned to us within 30 days of purchase, together with all relative labels and packaging. You are responsible for the cost of returning items.

A well made and well thought out piece of kit. Small items such as keys or small folding knife can be secured to your belt. The quick release function is a great idea.

Absolutely superb piece of kit. I have a firesteel holder in my bushcraft sheath but am always worried about it coming out and losing it. With this I can be rest assured, knowing that if it does, then it's firmly attached to my belt. It is also useful for stowing in a pocket with easy access via the lanyard.

The leather is top notch, but disappointed with the rubbish and cheap quick release keyring. I bought this keyring over the ones you get from key cutters in the hope they wouldn't be like the cheap rubbish ones. Sadly it is just another cheap poor quality quick release keyring and really lets the whole thing down. So disappointed. The keychain would cost less than a pound, the paracord a few pence so that makes the little piece of leather terribly expensive. If I'm reviewing the leather work I'd give it a higher rating, but it's sad that cheap parts are used for an item that is so essential like a fire steel (or closer to home, keys) to keep safe.
