The Hestra Primaloft Extreme Mitten Liners have been created for use in extreme cold; highly recommended for use outdoors on the coldest days, or for people with poor circulation. They are Ideal for those attending one of Woodlore's winter expeditions.

These liners are designed to be used in combination with an outer shell mitt, such as their Pullover Mitten.

Bought these insulated liners along with the recommended outers and wrist straps following being diagnosed with frostbite before Christmas. This is the first time they have been used and I am very impressed with the insulation qualities, the robustness of the outer shell (due to being vegan I opted for the fabric outer shells) and glad I elected to get the wrist straps after nearly losing a mitten on the first day in the alps! Also extremely impressed with the service that Ray Mears bushcraft have provided. Superb product knowledge when I called with questions and keen to make sure I was happy once the products had arrived. Would definitely recommend Ray Mears Bushcraft to others and will certainly purchase from them again in the future.

Be sure to buy the Hestra Handcuffs to go with these, I normally buy the large size with gloves and bought the size 9 mitts. You have not seen synthetic mitts until you've seen these, warmth is just what you want and need. Good size thumbs too, theres so many good mitts out there but most get let down by their dodgy odd tight fitting thumbs, these thumbs get the thumbs up. Really great price too for the warmth.

High loft makes these quite warm. Nice product, luckily they even fit into my mitten shell. Since these liners have high loft, make sure your shell is large enough.

Deceptively great gloves. They feel like they are down filled but you know they will hold out against moisture. Not a tight glove for handling anything. Slightly oversized and feels like you just can't ever feel cold wearing them. High quality feel, rather light, tad longer than expected which is good for me.

Very thick, warm and comfortable mitts; I bought the outers to go with them but would buy a bigger size in the outer as they are very tight!
