A really well-made, sturdy, smart-looking belt, with plenty of room for my waist to shrink (or grow) and I'm delighted that I purchased it. More than just holding one's trousers up, this is strong enough to carry equipment as well. Highly recommended. The great thing about the raymears.com online shop is that, in my experience, everything they sell is very high quality, and the service is quick and efficient. I had the belt within 36 hours of placing my order.

I have had a leather belt from rm for more years than I can remember, intact so long that it's too small for me now .
Would buy another but am no keen on having the name and logo imprinted on the belt as my original one never had any embossing on it .
It would be nice if you could select weather you wanted it on there or not when you purchase.
Hopefully these new belts last as long as the original ones if so there well worth every penny .

As always great service from Woodlore. The belt is excellent quality and superbly made of thick quality leather. At first he thought it would take time to mould due to the thickness of the leather, but once on fitted perfectly. And due to the quality and thickness of the leather it's going to be a long time before a new belt will be needed!

I am so pleased with this belt. Not only because of the quality but because of the fit. I purchased this belt because I wanted a smart belt to wear with jeans and a belt that would go around outer clothing which can be bulky in colder weather. The belt is size 40 and I am 34 inch waist. The belt goes around me perfectly with a hole or two to spare. The additional length fits through the sliding leather loop and looks great with jeans. It also fits around bulky outerwear with a hole or two to spare. Just so adaptable and looks so good too. Very pleased.

Great quality thick leather belt, I fully expect it to last ten years of daily use like the last two purchased.

The first thing that hits you when you pick up this belt is just how thick the leather is. This is seriously robust and certainly up to any task I may ever require of it. At first it seems too stiff but within minutes of putting it on I was unaware it was around my waist as it had moulded to my shape. The buckle is good heavy duty brass too and you know it is not going to break probably ever. All in all an excellent product once again from Woodlore.

I have a brown and now, two black belts. These are the best belts you can (probably) buy. They are very thick which makes them tough and yet they're pliable and comfortable to wear; the brass buckle and other hardware give this belt a pleasing heft. They fade tastefully with use but I have 'surface re-dyed' my black version so I can use it with a suit and it looks great again. I do use saddle-soap/dubbing periodically to keep them in good condition, but my brown version does show some light surface cracking after a decade of daily use. This does not seem to have interfered with it's integrity, but I will monitor this. All-in-all, a solid, rugged belt that will make you as cool as Mr Mears and I heartily recommend this product. Great service from the supplier too!

This is the second belt I've ordered from Woodlore. My first belt is still going strong some 15 years after I bought it. It's worn every day. It goes well with jeans, outdoors type trousers, a tweed suit and even my cargo shorts.
