Woolpower Ullfrotte Original Mittens - 400g - Pine Green

  I've got the Woolpower Ullfrotte Original Mittens in Pine green as a Christmas present to my self. They arrived quickly after ordering them, They are very comfortable and warm, Im planning on using them just as they are but they can also be used as a glove inside a glove, I like the colour and they will be good at keeping the wind out on cold days, I got these as I fancied a change from normal gloves I'm very pleased with them. I have only one problem as they are now to be sent off to Farther Christmas before I can use them.

  Excellent quality glove. I use them with an outer glove to cut the wind and water off as they don’t handle well when saturated and are not wind proof. Overall very pleased.

  A bit large and loose for my hands, so I tried washing them on a gentle cycle as another reviewer indicated. One mitten now has a hole in the thumb, with a rip starting in a different place on the other one. Never had this happen to any other clothing after a single wash. In terms of warmth they're pretty good, but I'm going to see if I can find mittens that fit better and can be washed without falling apart. I'm borderline medium/large hand size, and it's quite hard to find gloves/mittens that fit properly. The search continues...

  A bit large for me so am in the process of trying to wash them smaller! Otherwise again the quality is excellent. Regardless if they shrink a little or not, I will make great use of them.

  Although bought for a friend I am impressed by the quality of the gloves and feel they will be highly suitable for sub-arctic conditions, especially if used with a protective outer glove and perhaps a light inner glove. I will give thought to whether I will buy a set for myself too!

  As with the rest of the Ullfrotte range, a very high quality product, very warm even when damp. One down side is that the double layers can slide around, especially when using over mittens; this is easy to solve by putting a single stitch in the end off the mitten.
