Super balaclava, warm, stretchy and a nice fit. The terry loop lining is comfortable and I haven't found it itchy at all. Can be folded up into a commando hat. Pine green is a nice dark olive. Thanks to Åsa Opöien who sewed it in Östersund, Sweden.

Lightweight and super warm, comfy to sleep in on very cold nights. Excellent price too.

When I got the news that we were going on a once in a lifetime adventure to the arctic wilderness in Finland I knew I had to find the best equipment to stay warm and safe but also comfortable. I know that wool naturally has the right properties to regulate temperature and I already own merino wool clothing for winter in the UK but on this Arctic wilderness experience I wanted to know the equipment and clothing I had with me was going to work 100% without failure and this Woolpower Balaclava went with me everywhere. I was hiking, eating, camping and sleeping with it on. Wet or dry it kept frostbite away during extreme temperatures of -15, -20 and even -30 plus it helped massively to keep moisture away from my sleeping bag liner. I highly recommend this wool balaclava to all our adventurers who join us on our trips as part of their base essential kit now.

It could be perfect if it had the extensions that goes under the collar. over all awesome quality. I personally think it could be better if the face opening was a little smaller (so could cover my nose better) so my glasses don't get foggy because of my exhale.

Lovely and warm, and rolls up to serve as a hat.
