Ridiculously strong and tough, I use four carabiners to lash it to the outside of my pack adding an extra Four litres of water capacity. Heavily recommended for anyone into wild camping.

The MSR Dromedary Water Bag 4 litre is great piece of kit. Made from tough material which is reliable in the field. Enough water supply for one day hike without problem. Highly recommended.

Great build quality, can leak if inserted inverted into some systems, especially if you’re overloaded. Otherwise perfect and of the highest standard.

An item I have wanted for ages. Exceptionally light weight and hard wearing, packs up very small and has a huge capacity. Plenty of water for one night away. A choice of three ways of releasing water is a great feature. There is a small spout that flips up and allows a slow trickle for things such as adding a small amount of water for cooking. Then there is a smaller opening that on screws and has a diameter of around 1 cm so a Lille more water comes out and then there is the big fill cap that allows you to fill and empty quickly and with minimal fiddling about.

Not used in the field yet, but it looks and feels well made, it has multiple options for pouring and handy straps for lashing to your pack or a tree etc. Also, Woodlore were the cheapest I could find for this item.

A well put together piece of kit, the quality feels good. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that the water tastes odd when first used. I've had to fill it 4 or 5 times with boiling water to remove the taste. Looking to buy the drinking tube so that it can be used as a bladder too.

The only thing better than the Dromedary water bag is the impressive service from the Woodlore team. It is great to arrive home from work to find a parcel you were not expecting for a few days to be waiting on you. The only down side was the looks from the wife asking 'What have you ordered now?' It was that moment of, do I lie or own up and tell her. I was so impressed that I simply told her right out, 'It's a water bag from Woodlore and its arrived REALLY quickly. I'm impressed'. I think my enthusiasm got through as she simply said 'OK, very good'.Result!! Oh, and the bag is really great too. Well made, no leaks and simply works.

Not used it yet but the build quality is good and it packs up small which was the main requirement.

I love this piece of kit.
I've had a Camelback (Thermoback) for a couple of years now, and although I loved the idea I found that it was too bulky and difficult to use in certain situations.
For example I find that pouring water from the Camelback opening is very hard to accomplish (usually ends up with water all over the ground, wasted). The Dromedary bag has no such problems however and actually comes with three different spouts of differing sizes.
As for bulk the Dromedary bag has my old Thermoback beat hands down: When its not full it packs down nice and small and contours around the items in my pack. (Definitely an improvement on the Camelback.)
One thing I would change about the Dromedary bag is that another secondary lid would be nice, (without the smallest spout) as I keep thinking its going to leak into my pack somehow. No problems with that yet however, as the smallest spout sits snugly inside the cap.
Overall very high quality, very robust construction, and an all round recommended buy.
