Fjallraven Barents Pro Shorts - Laurel Green

  Toughest pair of shorts I've owned, but comfortable enough to wear casually. Pockets are placed smartly, and there are loads. At first, I was put off by there being no back pockets, but I've become a bit of a convert. When you sit down, inevitably you have to empty your back pockets. Having all the pocket action at the front negates this, and makes loads of sense. It isn't tech clothing, but it feels like it is, with a close weave that feels really sturdy. You can waterproof them with wax, but they're pretty quick drying, so unless you're carrying precious cargo in your pockets, I'm not sure I'd bother. Good price too.

  As with all Fjallraven clothing really good quality. Good waist fit. No rear pockets, for me personally not a big fan of rear pockets, too easy to damage car seats. No really a need for rear pockets as plenty of space on the leg pockets. Right leg pocket has a handy phone pocket, this cuts down on damage to your phone. The quality will last for years. As always extremely quick delivery from Woodlore. Well done.

  I love the rugged practicality of all Fjalraven kit. These shorts are no exception. They are excellent, whilst exploring, for stowing all the things you need to hand: map, phone, compass, snacks etc. The longest thigh pocket easily accommodated a folded OS map. The material never seems to wear out and can, if needed, be shower proofed using the Fjalraven Greenland Wax.

  Excellent pair of shorts. Not cheap, but obviously well made and sturdy, so should last a long time - and with a lot of useful carrying capacity! Woodlore quick as ever with delivery.

  Excellent customer service, very much appreciated. Fjallraven Barents Pro Shorts are as expected, quality product suitable for rugged activities. Perfect shorts for the active outdoors and also knocking about the man cave. They look and feel suitable for town with a casual shirt and comfy shoes/sandals. Only had them a few weeks, but the many pockets have all carried all sorts of stuff that I needed to hand without a jacket or pack to reach into. Worth every penny. Haven’t had the need to wax them yet, but I’m sure the time will come soon.

  Can't fault them! Smart looking whilst being tough wearing and showerproof. Twinned with a shirt and this is my summer look sorted, come rain or shine!
