I do not mind confessing a certain paranoia when it comes to water in the wilds. This is based on one or two telling experiences in my younger days which I am emphatically keen not to repeat. So, since then I have always been on the look out for a compact but effective water filter. This, I believe, is the best that I have tried yet. It really is simplicity in itself, in terms of both filtering and back washing the filter unit; it produces good, potable water quickly, it is not bulky and is simple to use. If I could have given six stars for this I would happily do so for its extraordinary practicality and the fact that you can just have it in your pocket for those shorter days out. It is as brilliant as Woodlore's service in getting it to me, just in the nick of time. Highly recommended.
