Great quality kettle, very well made. I like it a lot but I have one little niggle. The pour spout just needs to be a little longer with a pouring crease. It would then 100% perfect. Apart from that I recommend it.

Outstanding kettle. I am very happy with the quality and price! Thank you to Ray Mears Bushcraft.

This kettle lives up to the hype. The vendor (Ray Mears/Woodlore) and the Royal Mail system however, are exceptional. My 3 kettles arrived here in the Yellowstone area of Wyoming as quickly as if shipped within the U.S. Rapid dispatch as I think they say. Spectacular service, shipped within 12 hours of my order. Highly recommend Ray Mears for orders to the colonies.

A fantastic bit of kit, well made, large opening great for MRE, pouches. quick to boil also. The handles stay cold after boiling, very light.
Happy with this purchase.

This is the perfect size for going solo. If ultralight backpacking it would be considered a luxury item but for a weekend fly fishing or a 3 to 5 day back packing trip it's great! It's fairly light yet well made. I also have the 1.5 litre size and it was just too big for solo outings. Coffee and tea bags and other small items can go inside to save even more space.

I spent many hours researching for a high quality water kettle. Stainless steel is a must. I use this kettle on a woodcock stove as well as open fire. The Eagle Products kettle stands out from the competition because it has a copper layer on its base for improved heat conductivity. The base is also completely flat where many other kettle bases have circular rings (not a flush contact if used on a flat top stove). The flat surface increases the contact improving heat conductivity when used on a woodcook stove. Shipping to the USA was a breeze, I received it in less that one week.

Nicely made kettle fo use over gas, meths, or woodburning stove. Handle does get hot, so wear gloves or lift with a stick. This model also nests nicely into my primus 900ml pan.

Eagle Products 0.7 litre Kettle.

Little wonder this style of kettle is Ray's favourite, it's very dependable. In these times of high gas and electric costs I use my one every single day on my trangia triangle for hot drinks, but in a pinch you've got a cooking pot. The build quality is sturdy and well made, there are a few quirks you have to get used to mind you, but that's all part of the fun.
My favourite part of the kettle is the short spout it just works, you'd think it's going to spill boiling hot water everywhere but it doesn't.
Going outdoors you need the most reliable and simple equipment you can get your hands on and this should be on your shopping list.

I have both the 0.7L and 1.5L Kettle and have been using them hiking for a total of about 7 years. I've found that I like to use the 1.5L in my home kitchen, so I just ordered another one. Lightweight, nice pour and very stylish. Handles don't stay securely in the folded down position sometimes, but that doesn't bother me. Love these kettles.

Bought this kettle as a backup for an identical one I purchased a year or so ago. I love the thing and wanted to have a replacement handy if the original, God forbid, were somehow to meet it's demise.
The kettle is extremely well made as well as very light weight. There's also plenty of room inside for carrying other essentials while the kettle is not in use for it's intended purpose.

Great product. Thanks for having these in stock and shipping worldwide, as they seem rather hard to find in the U.S. It got here easily in about a week from the date of purchase. Great product, Great service.

A solid kettle that heats quickly. Some complain that the spout doesn't pour well, but I have never had an issue with it. I suggest you order two. One for a dedicated campfire kettle that will get a lovely sooty finish and one for your kitchen that stays nice and shiny. My order was shipped promptly to the US and I appreciate how well it was carefully packed for international delivery. Well done.

Brilliant product. Used on an open fire and with a Trangia burner very successfully. Cannot be faulted. Great price and service as is usual from Ray Mears and Woodlore.

Hello, this is now a fine kettle, I fixed the loop on top of the lid to make it easy to get under it. I adjusted the twin handles, now they lay flat for transporting and I fixed the spout to stop it dribbling. other than that, now a great bit of kit.

The product quality is good, the design is also unique, attracts attention when used, and is very different from the types of kettles in most today. The manufacturing process is very neat, all parts are smooth and not sharp.

I bought this kettle as I wanted to replace the aluminium Trangia 25 that I've had for ages. The kettle looks to be an excellent piece of kit. No burs or sharp edges anywhere. Good spot welds on the brackets. Nicely finished. The bag is a bit flimsy but I've dealt with that. I truly hope it was made in Norway, as the box only says 'Designed and Developed in Norway'. I've found statements like that before, usually leading to a made in China label somewhere. Not here though. It would be nice to see laget I Norge stamped on the lid. As I'm a nerd, I did a comparison boil test with the old Trangia. On a standard Trangia burner in a triangle stand. 400mls of cold water. The old Trangia kettle took 5mins 55secs to get a good boil. The Eagle Products kettle took 4mins. 34% quicker, more or less. So I'm keeping it!
I also bought a waxed canvas pouch for it from Cornwall Bushcraft (a tenner on E-Bay) to get the whole Scandinavian bushcrafter vibe.
Bottom line is it expensive?
Yes.
Is it worth it?
Well, considering you'll only have to buy it the once, yes it is.

Finally, I can get this product. Very impressive, thank you and a big appreciation for Ryan who has been very helpful so that this order can be sent to my address. I think this product is one of the best I have.

What a beautifully designed quality product. My bushcrafting partner was over the moon with his camp kettle gift. Within 5 minutes it was out of its packaging, and after being duly admired (only praise, no criticism, a first for my present selecting skills), the kettle was filled with water and over a flame. That copper base distributes a lovely even & efficient heat. 10/10.
A great product, very quickly delivered to the far side of the planet (NZ). Top customer service as always Woodlore, thank you.

A beautiful kettle that fulfills its function, full and without wind it took 25 minutes to boil the water with just a small alcohol stove, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I recently came back from a week long solo canoe trip in the
northern forest and this is the kettle I took with me. This
isn't the perfect kettle, but it is close enough to be sold by
Woodlore. This model nestles perfectly inside my Zebra Billy Can and
that made it a pleasure to pack up and carry. The double handles
make for stable and secure hanging. The most surprising positive
is that despite having almost no spout to speak of it still pours
clean and smooth. My only complaint (which to be honest is the
same in my other kettle) is that the lid doesn't stay secure when
you are at the very end of the pour and nearly tipping the kettle
over.

An excellent quality kettle, Great size for one person. Seems heavy duty with the copper bottom.
I was after a decent quality kettle to hang from a fire anchor this winter.
I would highly recommend.
