The Kelly Kettle Scout is a 1.2 litre volcano kettle made from durable stainless steel. First produced in Ireland in the early 1900s, the Kelly Kettle was originally popularised by anglers before being adopted by campers the world over thanks to its fast boil time and natural fuel versatility.

The Kelly Kettle system essentially consists of a stainless steel water chamber that is built around a central chimney. This unit sits on top of a base in which a fire can be lit, thus creating an upward draft through the chimney, ensuring fast and efficient boiling even in wet or windy weather.

The Scout Kettle can be used with almost any natural solid fuel (sticks, pine cones etc.) and will bring water to the boil in a matter of minutes. It features a welded construction that does away with the need for rivets, creating a stronger, longer-lasting piece of kit.
