This is more a light zip up jacket than a shirt. When brand new the shirt was stiff and a bit ungainly, but has softened up with washing, losing its original water-shedding quality in the process. It is quite smart and also functional in the woods (keeping wind and light showers at bay). It has three pockets, the two breast pockets are quite small, too small to secure a phone for instance. The hip pocket on the other hand is large and zips up, but filling it to its full potential does make the left hip look bulky. I like this as a wind shirt over some merino because of good breathability and ventilation. It is far more pleasant to wear than synthetic technical fabrics, so am generally well pleased. I'd prefer a button down collar as the current one sticks out a fair bit and I'd personally have preferred slightly bigger chest pockets, but other than that I'm very pleased and it's already getting a lot of use bushcrafting and general outdoor wear in Autumn weather.
