Great Finnish quality, simply, the M-3G is the best global compass. Easy to use and adjust when abroad to local magnetic conditions. Well made and easy to hold even with gloves on. The only reason I needed to buy this is I lost my last one and this has already proved itself to be just as easy to use and is built to the same standard. It will easily survive being bashed in pockets and dropped on hills etc.
