  These trousers are extremely durable, comfortable to wear and are very warm. The high waist band gives a nice comfortable to the user. Please be aware that these trousers are long. I am 6 ft 3 inches and even I found the length to be a tad too long. Great Product!

  Excellent trousers. Warm, hard wearing and a nice cut. My only gripe would be the fixed length leg. These are a long leg and would best suit someone over 6 feet tall imo. Early days but I'm very happy with my purchase especially given the reduced price! I doubt you'll find these trousers cheaper elsewhere.

  It's so nice having a pair of waterproof trousers that are designed for tall people, the silent motion and poppers are also very welcome features. I haven't had the chance to use them in heavy rain yet but in cold light rain they hold up just fine and the phone mesh pocket is big enough for a large smart phone and keeps it quite secure.

  I've had these for about a month and so far I believe them to be excellent waterproof trousers. The fit is very good, accurate waist sizing. The leg length is on the long side but that's a big advantage to me as I find it difficult to purchase this type of trouser with long enough leg length. Multiple pockets strategically well-positioned with silent snap closures, together with quiet fabric make these great for nature photography and similar outdoor pursuits where being quiet is important. They seem to be well-made -I walk in rough country that's often wet with standing water in marshy areas, and they hold up well and keep me dry. Highly recommended!

  Worn recently on a 3 night 4 day winter camping trip in Hokkaido, Japan, these trousers outperformed my expectations. I stayed warm and most importantly dry in temps down to -14°C (merino wool thermal layer also) and the silent fabric is great. My only issue which was my own mistake was to order a size a bit too large for me (I ordered the size 48 -32in waist- and am 170cm, the waist is fine but they are about 10cm too long and with the hydra tic lining and Velcro tabs at the bottom not really able to alter length, although once worn over Sorell winter boots this is not an issue and the little bit of extra room is appreciated. All in all, a great, sturdy, warm and waterproof (so far) pair of trousers.

  After a wet week on Dartmoor, I began to think there must be some good waterproof trousers out on the market. Having owned Paramo and Buffalo garments (and still do) I wondered what Fjallraven had to offer, having been impressed by their range over the years. Okay firstly they are not cheap, but then quality very rarely is, but Fjallraven kit does tend to last and stand up to hard work. Found the fit spot on although leg length is generous and the back sits high which is ideal for when carrying a pack. No waterproof pocket so care needs to be taken as to what you use these for, but a small issue. Waterproofing is very good, but as others have said the liner can feel cool against your skin, long johns in cold wet weather would obviously be the answer here. They can feel a little on the warm side, but I have not had chance for use in temperature lower than 5C. In all they look and feel like a good quality work trouser, comfortable to wear. The external G1000 fabric can be waxed, but this will wet out over time, although it is quick to dry when the rain stops. Thinking of first wash in tech wash then treat with cottonproof if this works then almost perfect. Only minor issue for some might be the colour, as this is more on the brown side of dark olive.

  Well I have searched, researched and delved into countless websites, before I came back to the place I know has already carried out the relevant research. These trousers are nothing short of brilliant. Well made and extremely warm. Ok worn in the summer but the immediacy of the thermal protection is amazing.

  Excellent product. I purchased them prior to an autumn visit to Shetland and on one occasion I wore them for a couple of hours in near gale force winds and driving constant rain/water flung up from the sea. My legs stayed dry from the rain and bogs I walked through, although perspiration caused a little dampness probably due to being slightly too warm. I also put my wallet in a front pocket and this did get damp, admittedly this was during the atrocious conditions as described above, so I wasn't too disappointed by this. I usually rate outdoor gear on whether I can ignore the clothing and enjoying walking/bird watching, it was certainly the case with these. The weather was around 14C so it was quite mild and I look forward to using them and giving them a workout in colder weather. I read another review which, as far as I recall, stated that the waist dimensions were generous. I'd agree but this wasn't a problem. The leg length was good too and as I'm tall (+6ft) this is a plus point. Certainly a very good hardcore piece of clothing.

  Superb product, just got back in from a good soaking whilst bird watching on my local estuary and these keep the wind and rain out. As other people have said these are a more generous fit than other Fjallraven trousers I have but I like that as for winter use thick long johns could be used. The pockets are also bigger that my other Fjallraven trousers which I prefer. All in all I would highly recommend them.
