These knives speak for themselves. I have the 160 and now this makes the set. I removed the belt loop of the sheath and molded a leather sheath and it makes a first class item. I would recommend this knife to any green wood carvers.

I bought this along with the Morakniv Wood Carving 106 Knife. Great knife, great service, delivered within 1 week to NZ, great job team. I will certainly use the site again and would recommend these knives, thank you.

Great. Recommend you buy both these knifes as they complement each other when wood carving.

Exceptionally sharp and with a very comfortable handle, I have found this little knife a real joy to use. As it has a very fine tip it can carve fairly tight curves and due to its relatively short blade retain a fair degree of precision. An excellent purchase for carving fairly small objects.

My first ever purchase from the Woodlore website and first ever whittling/carving knife alongside the Mora 106 (which has a longer blade even though model number is lower). So I can only give my experience so far as I have nothing to compare this with. Handle is a good size and comfortable to hold. Feels warm to touch and provides plenty of room and contour to allow for comfortable re-positioning as you work. The short blade is very sharp and does not bend or flex and is solidly fixed into the wooden handle with the tang running through to the base of the handle. Great to work with and I think most people would get along well with this bit of kit, unless you have smaller hands and find the circumference of handles a problem. It is not that they are oversized in the 120 or 106 models but they are reasonably sized. The supplied plastic sheath is ok. the knives would come out if dropped onto a hard surface, but it is possible to push the knife in firmly and it will not slide out without being forced to accidentally or by human hand. As with all knives safety is key. Practice good technique and keep your eye on the ball and your fingers and all should be ok. I am just learning and I love whittling already. When I walk our dog in the woods I keep my eye open for materials. I just pick up and never cut - the wood is managed and offcuts and fallen branches are plentiful. I hope this helps someone. Great service from this site. Despatched quickly, packed well. Smart.
