This belt in both brown and black versions is undoubtedly the best of its type (everyday, outdoors, informal) that I have ever come across. High quality, thick leather, strong, well made, highly functional brass buckle. I recommend it unreservedly.

To anyone wanting a quality leather belt then this is the one. My husband has a brown one already, which is a lovely rich colour. As a stocking filler this year I purchased the black version so he can wear on his trousers for work.

I have a brown and now, two black belts. These are the best belts you can (probably) buy. They are very thick which makes them tough and yet they’re pliable and comfortable to wear; the brass buckle and other hardware give this belt a pleasing heft. They fade tastefully with use but I have ‘surface re-dyed’ my black version so I can use it with a suit and it looks great again. I do use saddle-soap/dubbing periodically to keep them in good condition, but my brown version does show some light surface cracking after a decade of daily use. This does not seem to have interfered with it’s integrity, but I will monitor this. All-in-all, a solid, rugged belt that will make you as cool as Mr Mears and I heartily recommend this product. Great service from the supplier too!

Thick and supple leather. My belt varied from the picture in that It was black on both sides which for me was a bonus.

This is an excellent item. I have had a brown belt now for a few years, it has settled in and is very much an old friend. I have been wanting a matching black belt for a while. and finally bought one. This product is exceptionally well made, feels and smells wonderful and if looked after will last a lifetime. Got two of these belts now, they are bullet proof. I wouldn't use anything else to hold my breeks up. If you're on the fence, buy it, you won't regret it.
