It is our firm belief that Wilderness Bushcraft has something of value for everyone; hopefully this is reflected in our
programme of educational courses that has evolved over the twenty five years we have been operating. At Woodlore, course
development is a never-ending process as we endeavour to bring the subject to a wider range of student.

Our short courses have been designed for those with
little time to join us or the novice who would like a taste of
what we offer on our longer courses.

For those of you that like to try something a little more
challenging, we offer courses overseas. New courses are
constantly being developed to take you to wild places and to the
true wilderness.

These courses have been developed to give parents with young
children the opportunity to experience Bushcraft together in a
fun and safe environment.

|
These courses are for the adventurous youngster interested in
bushcraft but not yet old enough to attend an adult course. No
parents allowed!

Taking a walk in the woods with Ray can be like walking with an
encyclopaedia! These are very exclusive events which Ray is only
able to conduct when his filming schedule allows.

Our week-long courses are for those who want comprehensive
instruction in the cornerstones of wilderness bushcraft. On
these courses you will learn how to find food, water and
shelter, how to light fires in all weathers and to use cutting
tools proficiently. To enable you to make journeys in wild
places we will teach you to navigate in the most difficult
conditions and to look after yourself and your companions in
case of accident or illness. As your knowledge of nature
increases you can take your skills further, to track human and
animal, even live from the land! These courses are conducted
entirely in the outdoors from a friendly base camp. They are,
however, sometimes tough and challenging. No whingers please!
