The Woodlore course season is under way…

Introduction to Bushcraft

Students enjoying lunch in the sun on our Introduction to Bushcraft course

Woodlore’s course season got under way over the Easter weekend this year, getting off to a great start.

Beginning with an Introduction to Bushcraft course on April 1st, we’ve since held two more Introductions, two week-long Fundamental Bushcraft courses as well as our Wilderness Navigation course. The Camp Craft workshop is up next, so let’s just hope the nice weather continues!

Well, I have to say a huge thank you to the Woodlore team, for their kind hospitality, patience, professionalism and eagerness to pass on their skills and knowledge, especially to Dan, Nick, Emma and Darren. You not only rekindled my passion for the great outdoors but truly reignighted it. I must also thank the guys that were on the course too, some of which must have thought they were really out of their depth when we were given our sleeping accomodation (tarps) and instructed on how to pitch them. But every single one enjoyed themselves and I hope too will be eager to put the knowledge learned to good practice and possibly, like myself, book on to to the next course from the Woodlore Team. The art of possibility through and through.

I am booked on an Introduction to Bushcraft course for the May bank holiday and can’t wait for the Woodlore Team to rekindle my childhood passion for the great outdoors and the woods!
