In the lead-up to Ray Mears’ forthcoming lecture tour across Scotland and Ireland this year, Ray was recently interviewed by the Scottish Daily Record.

The interview covers, amongst many other subjects, “what Ray thinks about the prospect of re-introducing wolves to Scotland, what we should do about urban fox attacks and how he feels about being mistaken for Daybreak’s Adrian Chiles…”

About

Woodlore, School of Wilderness Buchcraft was founded in 1983, by the British Bushcraft and survival expert Ray Mears. Woodlore began as a relatively unknown company, offering a small selection of courses on bushcraft techniques. With Ray's ambition and perserverance, Woodlore has since grown into a world-renowned and highly respected school, offering in-depth courses on a wide range of bushcraft and survival subjects. In addition to training, Woodlore now also provides some of the finest outdoors equipment from around the world, carefully selected on the basis of our extensive experience.

Ray is great on Daybreak and I think Christine does really well to keep up with working on the two shows, she must be very busy doing daybreak in the morning and the one show at night.

What a great little article. Some quite insightful questions with some well though out answers. Also some of the usual low brow questions that seem to follow Ray around. I do wonder how he keeps a smile and answers these in good humour. I had the chance to see him in Llandudno for the Northern Wilderness Tour and he kept a great sense of humour and calm at those usual inane questions.

Does Ray ever get mistaken for Adrian Chiles!? A great Comic relief gag in the making!
