Interview with Ray Mears from Guardian.co.uk
Two new interviews with Ray are currently online:
‘One Last thing… Ray Mears’ Guardian interview
‘Dine In: Ray Mears’ Times Online interview

Woodlore, School of Wilderness Buchcraft was founded in 1983, by the British Bushcraft and survival expert Ray Mears. Woodlore began as a relatively unknown company, offering a small selection of courses on bushcraft techniques. With Ray's ambition and perserverance, Woodlore has since grown into a world-renowned and highly respected school, offering in-depth courses on a wide range of bushcraft and survival subjects. In addition to training, Woodlore now also provides some of the finest outdoors equipment from around the world, carefully selected on the basis of our extensive experience.

Wow, The Guardian article was pretty cringe-worthy on their part. Just a note that the link to The Times article is broken

I agree fully! Amazing how shortsighted a newspaper can be (I’m from Holland but can guess The Guardian is pretty well-known and settled) and even publish this kind of article on their Culture page. Really curious why they’re profiling themselves like this… Anyway, Ray has become quite an icon, also here on mainland Europe. Keep up that good work, forget PR like this…

That Guardian interview reads like something out of the Daily Star. Poor Ray for being subjected to it.
