Deer remains found on Woodlore's Woodsense Tracking course

Deer remains found on Woodlore’s Woodsense Tracking course

An interesting discovery was made last week on our Woodlore Tracking course, when deer remains were discovered in the woods.

Is anyone able to identify the type of deer they came from?

Camp Craft 2010

Woodlore’s Camp Craft course, 2010

Colette, one of the Woodlore office team members, recently went to visit Woodlore’s first Camp Craft course of the season.

The course was in full swing and the sun was shining, so she she managed to snap some pictures of our students working away on various axe and woodwork techniques.

If you’d like to take a look you can see the photos here:

The students of our 2010 Arctic expedition took some great pictures during their time in Sweden, which can be seen here: Arctic Experience 2010

Canoeing in the Ardeche 2010

2010's Canoeing in the Ardeche group

This year’s Canoeing in the Ardeche course took place last week, but not without complications! Weeks of torrential rain and hailstorms left the usual route of the gorge at such a high water level that it would have been illegal to paddle down.
