Ray Mears Wild Food Book and DVD

Woodlore is pleased to announce that both the Book and DVD accompanying the hugely popular Wild Food Series are now in stock and available to order on the website.

In the series, Ray Mears embarks on a voyage of discovery into the lost foods of Britain's Stone Age. A journey that draws on all of Ray's bushcraft skills and knowledge of ancient ways of life around the world, and which begins on the other side of the planet. Ray travels to Australia to see how food gathering means so much more than just diet to the Australian Aborigine.

Throughout filming the series and writing the book, Ray worked closely with University College London's Professor of Archaeobotany, Gordon Hillman.
