As part of Woodlore's 30th Anniversary celebrations, we are proud to unveil this exclusive and highly-limited version of the popular Ray Mears Bushcraft Knife. Fitted with a black Micarta handle and presented in a custom case embossed with the classic Woodlore logo, this 30th Anniversary model is strictly limited to just 100 knives. The carbon steel blade comes engraved with the Ray Mears Bushcraft logo on one side and '30th Anniversary' on the reverse.

After years of using knives unfit for Bushcraft use, Ray Mears put the finishing touches to his very own design in 1990. That design became the Woodlore Knife, a now-legendary tool in its field. The Ray Mears Bushcraft Knife, with a blade made to almost identical specifications as the original Woodlore Knife, is an exceptional and beautiful tool in its own right. Hand-made from start to finish by the revered British knife maker Stephen Wade Cox, the care and experience that goes into each knife is undeniable.

Expertly crafted from O1 High Carbon Tool Steel, the full, mildly-tapered-tang blade features a flat Scandinavian-style bevel. This type of steel is remarkably strong and sharpens to a very fine edge.

The dimensions of the handle were deliberated over in great detail in order to find the perfect balance between comfort and function. Ultimately, a style akin to that of our Wilkinson Sword models was chosen, which is slightly slimmer to those featured on the Woodlore Knife.

This exclusive 30th Anniversary Knife comes fitted with a handle of sleek black Micarta. This resilient composite material has proven to be a popular choice for knife handles over the years, thanks largely to the fact that it is near-impervious to damage from moisture, oils, solvents, or changes in temperature, making it an excellent material for working tools. In addition to its durability, Micarta benefits from a unique and understated appearance as a result of the layering process used in its creation.

The Ray Mears Bushcraft Knife comes complete with a Hand-Stitched Leather Belt Sheath. Another hand-crafted item made to exceptionally high standards, this sheath complements the knife perfectly. The sheathed knife is then enclosed in a custom 30th Anniversary presentation case, with the classic Woodlore logo embossed in silver.

0.3 Got the knife in the mail a couple days ago and wow is it beautiful. I have never owned a Micarta handled knife and was more than pleased with it. It is a beautifully crafted handle and knife itself. I couldn't be more happy with it! I have bought many things from Woodlore and it just goes to show if you buy from Woodlore you know you are getting the best.
