The Bergans Sauda Down Jacket is a thick down jacket, designed to protect you from extreme cold. Despite its incredible warmth, the jacket remains lightweight and highly compressible thanks to its filling of top-quality down.

While the Sauda Jacket makes an ideal outer layer for use on winter expeditions, it is equally suitable as your go-to jacket for those cold days back at home. It is also perfect for cold evenings spent around camp while on safari or in desert conditions.

A windproof and water-repellent outer fabric, teamed with reinforced elbows and premium build quality, all help to make this a reliable garment that you can depend on when the cold weather hits.

Warmth and comfort is ensured with the inclusion of deep pockets, wrist-warming cuffs with thumb-holes, an extended back panel to keep draughts out and a fitted, adjustable hood. Thanks to its down filling, the Sauda Jacket is highly breathable, helping to transport moisture away from your skin. And, if you do find yourself getting too warm, there are zipped vents under each arm to help you ventilate.

A very, very warm jacket and well made at a great price for its spec, when compared to Northface and Rab. Wore it in -5 for a walk with the dog and had to unzip it as it got too warm. Highly recommended.

Excellent jacket. Very fast and efficient delivery and fine packaging. I have used it just once on a day trip, but since winter is not upon us yet, not in really cold conditions. On the other hand I have no doubt on the quality of Bergans and anyway I will use it in Norway this winter.

I own a Paramo Halcon jacket, which I love, but I wanted something that would be warm enough for skiing in, without too much underneath. I can't believe just how snug and warm this jacket is, compared to anything else I've ever worn. I had doubts about sizing, so called Woodlore for some help, and that's exactly what I got. This is without a doubt the best winter jacket I've ever owned. Other down jackets I've had could take a while to warm up once I put them on, but with this jacket - instant warmth! It's made for extreme cold, which makes it sound as though you'd only use it on an expedition, but this winter it has simply been my go-to jacket for any time spent outdoors, whether out walking or just out around town. The build quality is fantastic too. Overall I couldn't be happier.
